Pete Marshall, CEPA®

I started the Marshall Financial Group out of a spare bedroom in my home back in 2005. I’ve always been passionate about the financial world, and I was determined to create a better experience and get better results for my clients. That’s exactly what we’ve done. The Marshall Financial Group has grown tenfold because our clients are thriving. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing the gains we’ve been able to make for the people we serve.

Growing up, I excelled in math and always had a strong interest in business and investments. After earning my bachelor’s degree in business-administration, I went on to serve as a financial advisor and agency director at MetLife Investment Management until 2005, when I left to launch my own firm. At the Marshall Financial Group, we created a business culture that emphasizes positivity and affirmation, and established core values that embrace transparency and accountability. Sometimes the work involves coaching clients through short-term turbulence, while other times we celebrate their success. My reward has been not just the loyalty of our client’s, but also their friendship.

Who inspires me
I’m a self-help enthusiast who is always looking for new sources of inspiration. Some of my favorites are Tony Robbins, Mel Robbins, David Goggins, Tom Bilyeu, Simon Sinek, etc.

How I spend time outside of work
Playing basketball with my son or attending one of my daughter’s musical performances. I also enjoy hiking and just relaxing on a beach.

As a senior in high school, I was named Home Economics Student of the Year.
